GORE - MARTIN GORE - Martin Gore is the driving creative force behind Depeche Mode, and an accomplished solo artist in his own right. In Depeche Mode's original form, Gore and fellow synthpop pioneer Vince Clarke jettisoned all instruments excluding their synthesizers and fashioned a slick, technical sound that resulted in a number of early hits for the group prior to Clarke's exit from the band to form Yazoo and Erasure. Gore then took the songwriting reigns to lead the band in an artistic evolution of sophisticated electronics-driven music that continues to this day, drawing in sexual, spiritual, industrial and atmospheric textures. His collaborators along this journey have included such figureheads as Daniel Miller, Anton Corbijn, Tim Simenon, Alan Wilder, and Flood; and there would be few electronic artists of note that have not stood in line to grace the band with a remix. Gore's solo 'Counterfeit' releases further highlight his influences and showcase the 'Mode's mastermind in full effect. Try walking in the shoes of the man behind Music For The Masses, Violator, Songs of Faith & Devotion, Ultra and Playing the Angel...

MY NINJA LOVER’s music has been described as: “Sexy, haunting and deliciously danceable…”  by ‘In The Mix’; and, “Overflowing with ideas and sonic delights…” by Time Off. Chopping and dicing genres like a crazed octopus with blades instead of tentacles, My  Ninja Lover (MNL) is a band with an ability to make music that flows with idiosyncrasy and drips with sass. Based in Queensland, Australia, the group is united in their desire to leave behind the shelving structure of modern electronica and create sound waves that are unique, lasting, and slightly eccentric. MNL’s constantly evolving original repertoire is as exciting as a nude free-fall from outer space…

Their live cabaret show draws on the considerable musical experiences of all three members. Porl and Manta have spent many years touring Australia with Zephyr Timbre, playing at events such as Big Day Out, Livid, the Falls Festival, and Homebake. Porl and Chris first discovered their musical connection in the mid 90s as part of Trace Element. In their various projects, the band members have toured with and supported such high profile acts as Jamiroquai, Ben Harper, Spearhead, Hybrid, Moby, and many more. MNL performances alongside acts including Mix Master Mike, Crazy Penis, Bent, Pendulum, The Drummatic Twins and Pepe Deluxe have sparked tremors internationally,  and with an ever-changing line-up of guest musicians, the shows retain their unpredictable freshness… MNL began with a massive kick-start in late 2004, when they took out the grand prize in Nokia's national Terminal Nine Connecting Beats competition (as voted for by the Australian public), winning a trip to London and a mastered demo EP. This achievement paved the way for the commercial release of their debut EP Silk and Daggers in late 2005 through the Creative Vibes label. With the kooky drum & bass flavoured single Tin Cat getting huge support from major Australian radio station Triple J, MNL are poised to deliver their particular breed of sound manipulation to a global audience - the groundwork has begun for album number one to be released in 2006. Tread carefully and watch the  shadows...  My Ninja Lover are ready to pounce… Visit www.myninjalover.com .

LOVELESS started out as a side-project for Quentin and Gillian, the keyboardists from popular Australian synth-guitar pop-mash-up group Genshen.

Loveless began as an outlet for the pair to explore their shoegazey roots more thoroughly, but with a catch... using their current instrument of choice, vintage keyboards.

In fact, the duo have claimed to have invented a new style - they call it "electro-gaze"... a minimalist new wave style with shoegazey stylings - loveless is a melting pot of 80s new wave and 90s shoegazey stylings.

Loveless appears as an alien landscape of synths, drum machine, effects, innumerable leads and two very busy musos! The duo plays everything organically in the live context without the use of backing tracks or midi control.

Loveless influences include kraftwerk, stereolab, visage, the faint, my bloody valentine, slowdive, depeche mode, and many more.

TRANSCOM - Special things deserve special measures.

The passions and tribulations of two electro nutters, musos, artists hell bent on helping reconnect mature fans with their past electro love affairs. A reconnection, or for some, a re-alignment with the live electro goodness that's still out there.
The retrospective on Martin Gore will be produced by TRANS:COM itself.

GORESS3 will provide a journey, a unique representation of how MARTIN GORE made the journey as key song-writer for DEPECHE MODE. Depeche came into being shaped by its first key songwriter VINCE CLARKE. It is very important to mention his role. Though not known to many, Vince was the originator of Depeche Mode's initial sound he left the band making room for Gore to pick up much of the songwriting from there on.

Vince, as artist/producer, thrived on other activities working on various brilliant projects including YAZOO, and of course ERASURE.

In Depeche's early days, Martin Gore contributed just a little but the relationship between Clarke and Gore was an important starting point for Gore.

For serious DEPECHE fans, you simply can not miss GORESS2. Fore more info on Trans:Com go to www.trans.com.au
