The Upgrade Music Technology Forum entitled "Getting Your Music Out
There” will get to the heart of many aspiring electronic music
creators ambitions. The forum aims to open up the field of discussion
to cover the essential factors artists need to consider when producing, performing, promoting & distributing
their original electronic music. The forum will examine
how the music making process is likely to change in the
future (discussing the possible opportunities and likely
obstacles) then finish with speakers responding to
questions from the audience. To get in early with your

has worked in the past, how the music industry works
now, and what are the expectations for the future.

& performance.

- How has digital technology transformed the way each speaker functions in their chosen fields.

The proposed location for the forum will be in The Block
space at QUT’s Creative Precinct, commencing at 1.00pm on
